End of Course Exams
Washington State mandated End-of-Course Exams in Algebra and Geometry will take place on June 4th, and the Biology-End-of-Course exam will take place on June 5th. Freshmen and sophomores will be testing. The testing/late-arrival schedule will be in effect for both June 4 and 5. Rosters, with student names and testing locations, will be posted on May 22nd on the main office windows. Students should check the roster prior to test days, and will report directly to their testing venue on June 4 and 5, where attendance will be taken.

June 12: English, World Languages, Art
June 13: Math, CTE, PE/Health
Freshmen: Sophomore, and Junior Finals:
June 14: 9:40 period 1 final
11:55: lunch
12:30: period 3 final
June 17: 9:40: period 2 final
11:55: lunch
12:30: period 4 final
June 18: 7:55-8:35: locker check out
8:40: period 5 final
10:55 dismissal
The VHS Library will be closed for inventory so please utilize the classroom study tables.

Vashon Allied Arts -- In the Gallery presents; Vashon Island High School Student Exhibition May 3-22, 2013. Come and see works by over 40 advanced art students in Painting, Drawing, Jewelry, Photography, Printmaking and Ceramics. Opening reception will be Friday, May 3, 6-9 PM, music by Pultry in Motion. HONOR SOCIETY STUDENTS OFFER PEER TUTORING
The VHS Chapter of the National Honor Society is offering peer tutoring during SMART periods in room A-4 and after school in the VHS library Tuesday afternoons until 4 pm. Students should speak with their counselors if they're interested in receiving tutoring.
