High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE)

Beginning this school year, the 10th grade Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) is being replaced by the High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE). Students must pass a reading and writing assessment to be eligible to graduate.

End of second trimester finals will be Wednesday, March 24th, through Friday, March 26th.  We will be utilizing the following new schedule:

March 1st, 7:00 PM informational meeting for parents to discuss our math placement process in the VHS theater

March 16th, 8:00 AM, math placement assessment for 8th graders at the McMurray Middle School cafeteria.  Students should arrive at McMurray by 7:50 AM.
